Flying with Justin

Never did I think that I would be singing along to Wonder Pets and know all the songs in an episode.  They are actually not that bad :) I find myself singing those songs throughout the day because they stay stuck in my head after seeing them so much. Didn't think I would be doing this, but then again, I never thought I would be hooray-ing for poop!!

Taken on January 20th - the day he turned 4 months :) He's laughing so much he looks chinese!

When Justin was born he was 9 pounds and it seemed sometimes that the amount of milk that I would give him wasn't enough.  I would put some rice cereal in a few times, but tried not to, because I was afraid of the "outcome".  Finally the week before he turned four months I tried it.  We bought spoons, and bowls for him...I was ready! Funny how the small things get me excited :)  The first spoonful was funny, he mad a stinky kind of face, but ate it.  Well, at least I think he ate it...to tell you the truth - a lot more came out than went in, and towards the end he got so mad and started crying that I couldn't finish feeding him.  I purposely started feeding him around 15 minutes before his actual feeding time so this wouldn't happen, but still did.  I then cleaned him up and gave him his bottle.  Needless to say, he was a happy camper.

Justin is now 4 months old and I can't believe how fast this time has gone.   He laughs all the time, and it's the best sound I have ever heard! He holds his head up, but does gets tired easily.  He is beginning to turn to his side which means in no time he will turn over! He does the funniest things and I swear I can tell how his personality is already.  He definitely has a temper (from his dad, not me hehehe) he doesn't really have much patience either because when he is hungry, man is he hungry, he does NOT give me time to prepare his milk.  I am literally running around like a mad woman, because he cries as if something tramatic has happened.  He is a really good baby though, he is alert, and smiles all the time. I can take him anywhere and be okay with him. Just once, I had a issue in a restaurant with him, where he started crying, but every other time he does great! His hand - eye coordination is also getting better...he is starting to want to grab things.

These past four months have gone by so quick, and he is changing so much, so fast! Lets see what the next few months have in store for us!

::Happy Birthday to me::

I love Olive Garden.  That's where we went.  My parents, sisters, mother-in-law, and sis-in-law, and my two men :) It's crazy because this time last year I had just found out I was pregnant and now, I have my little chubby cheeker in my arms. It's amazing, how much I love him, and I just met him :)

::September 20th 2010::

Justin Xavier was a 9 pound 5 ounce baby boy with big cheeks! It wasn't a surprise that he was going to be a big baby, but the 9 pounds was definitely a shocker.  My mom, dad, sister, mother in law, and of course Chris were in the room when he was born.  It was nice having my family with me for this special moment.

I was admitted to the hospital at 2:30 a.m.  I was 1 cm dialated, they don't usually take you in until you are 2 cm, but since I was scheduled to be induced at 10 a.m. that morning they let me slide.  After 9 hours of labor, and pushing for about an hour, Justin was finally born at 11:55 a.m. !
